1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Description:
California built Rally Sport with #s match motor, trans, rear and colors. Very desirable features including hidden headlights, working cowl induction, factory gauges and more. Very clean, honest Camaro. EXTERIOR: I was in Tennessee at a car show and this car grabbed my attention from 150 feet away. Before I said a word my wife said "I like that Camaro". It shows really well. Its clean, sits nice, it's handsome and decked out with accesories. Professionally repainted it's original Olympic... gold color. Has a smooth glossy finish. Even along the bottoms I see the reflection of the ground like a mirror. The body is super clean and straight, fits nice. All the chrome looks new- emblems, marker lights, bumpers, mirrors, door handles etc. Vinyl top and glass are excellent. It's decked out with the Rally Sport which consists of hidden headlights in front and relocated reverse lights in back. It also has spoilers bumper guards, exterior trim package, correct hockey stick stripe and cowl hood. For added bling it has 18 inch Ridler wheels with performance tires, wider in back. Door jambs are real clean and painted. The bottom of the door lips are clean. Weatherstrips window seals have been replaced. INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car and I get the impression it's not ever been abused. I'm looking at the kick panels, dash, heater controls, the knobs and it's all very nice. It has the console with factory gauge cluster and 8,000 redline tachometer in the dash. Has reproduction floor mats. It's clean from carpet to headliner. It has all it's seatbelts, interior light works. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has Vin number matched, original 350 motor. It has some upgrades like an aluminum intake, Pertronix distributor, headers and dual feed Holley carb with electric choke. Dressed up with finned aluminum Z-28 valve covers. It also has the complete cowl induction system including the air cleaner and flapper door in the hood. Many new components- wiring, master cylinder, cadmium plated booster, alternator etc. It all looks proper- has fan shroud, hood insulation, correct horns. It runs great. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Super clean, rock solid metal. I don't see any patches. Has trunk mat, spare and complete jack. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb is painted real nice. UNDERSIDE: Up front the suspension is all brand new and upgraded. Has fat tubular control arms, new shocks, springs, bushings ball joints etc. Has brand new disc brakes. Bottom of the motor is spotless, has new mini high torque starter. Vin # matched Saginaw 4-speed. Shift linkage looks new. In back it has the correct 12 bolt 3.31 posi- code BS E. It has air shocks in back. E-brake system is complete. The custom exhaust sounds great. Has fat pipes with crossover and Flowmaster. The floors are dry as a chalkboard. I dont see any rust or repair. Clean original metal. We all really like this Camaro. The color combination must have been special ordered. I have never seen another. You wouldn't think so but it looks great.
