We are selling this desert dry 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Sedan project as an extraordinary package for nearly $12,000.00 less than what we have already paid for everything that the sale includes. The car has spent it's entire life in the Bakersfield California area and has never been hit or otherwise damaged in any way that we can determine. This build has been worked on through many years...and now a back injury prevents completion.
The rolling chassis includes the California, fully boxed frame that has been stripped, painted and was Professionallycustom builtwith a Chevelle front subframe..by installing the 1975 Corvette 3:08 Posi traction rear end, it now offers 4 wheel disc brakes and independent front and rear suspension.. a brand new, ZERO mile Chevy 383 Stroker motor featuring Edelbrock Aluminum heads, Haas Pistons, a Lunatti Crank, coated headers and Edelbrock Tuned Port Fuel Injection linked to a brand new and beefed ZERO mile 700R4 Automatic Transmission, driveshaft and the Corvette 3:08 Positraction rear end with rebuilt short shafts....please compare the asking price for everything listed here with custom frames (which DO NOT include the engine or transmission) that are selling alone for $15-$16K...this engine with Fuel Injection and this transmission alone were over $9K,.... Global West tubular front control arms, disc brakes, reduced ratio power steering box, heavy duty sway bar, Corvette rear end etc... all installed.....this is a high quality rolling chassis with a solid body being sold with the motor and transmission for little more than the price of a bare comparable rolling chassis alone!
The very nice body is extremely straight, rust free, uncut, unaltered with beautiful original floors and rockers... complete with very nice doors, uncut dash, fenders, hood, deck lid, Bel Air trim..correct vin tag (in correct position, correct rivets with matching numbers) to the clear title......
The front California one piece and station wagon rear bumper with guards are both rechromed ($1500) and are still in wrap...the NEW, uninstalled parts include but are not limited to the following: IDid It tilt column ($400), stainless hood hinges ($300), hood bar, extensions, rockets, front splash pan, Billet dash trim, new headlight units, new taillight units, lenses, aluminum quarter panel inserts ($500), rocker moldings, custom third brake light, custom 57 steering wheel ($300), outside and inside mirrors...nearly everything that Danchuk sells for the 57 has been purhased and remains in the boxes unopened..and will be included...also includes beautifully restored 1968 Cadillac front (power) and rear bench seats in black stitched and pleated vinyl... original gold backed, black lettered license plates first issued in 1957, with correct 57 registration sticker..matching the title.....please call to discuss and ask any questions you may have regarding the sale 818-7849820..Robert ...this project was being built with the intention of raising funds to assist homeless and disabled veterans, their families and others living on the streets...it is difficult to part with at such a great financial loss and disappointment for not being able to complete it.
