1939 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description:

1939 Chevrolet Rat Rod Custom Truck. The engine is a Cadillac 472 Big Block. The serial number on the block indicates approx. 1969 vintage. Lokar shifter on Turbo 350 trans. Lake style headers. The rear-end is from a '90s Chevy Silverado. The frame, from the cab and back, is custom with 4-link and coil springs. Aluminum Radiator. The front end has inverted leaf springs and friction shocks, as well as disc brakes. Many custom touches. We call it our Ratillac. This truck gets great response everywhere we go. If you are looking for a Cool Ratrod Truck, this Ratillac is for you. It's loud and it's fun. Recently installed new cap/rotor, points, and alternator. We had the compression checked at the same time and all was good. We replaced the rear main seal last summer. The interior has a lot of fun touches. Fires right up every time.
