1963 Chevrolet Impala Description:
1963 Chevrolet Impala SS 409.This is a beautiful 1963 Impala SS 409 4-speed that has gone through a 10-year frame-off restoration that was completed early this year. It's painted in its original Ermine white with a pearl clear coat and a red vinyl bucket seat interior. The car runs, drives and shifts great!The 409/340HP engine has been rebuilt to stock specs. The original carb was rebuilt and an electric choke has been added. The Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and Hurst shifter were also rebuilt. A new exhaust system from the manifold back was installed. It has manual steering and manual drum brakes. New tires including the spare were installed.
All chrome and metal trim work was done by Librandi's. It features a front bumper grill guard, gas door trim, dual mirrors, dual antennas, and wheel skirts painted to match body (not pictured but included). A new windshield was installed and the other glass was polished. The interior was completely restored (new seat upholstery, seat foam, carpet, floor mats, headliner, door panels, package tray, window cranks, etc.) All new weather-stripping was installed. The instrument panel was upgraded to LEDs.
