Up For Auction Is A Very Nice 65 Corvette Convertible Project CarIt has a very nice bod, with all bonding strips intact . The only modification is the front fender eyebrow flares. The frame is very clean and no signs of any rust with the exception of surface only. The headlight assemblies go with the car but they are missing the 2 inboard ball retainers that is why they were not installed . I bought this car to keep but bought a 63 coupe to take it's place. The hard top i was told fell off the car and received a dent in the rear stainless and it is sprung very little . It can be fixed when you restor, paint the car. We have a 65 dated (K-4-5) 396 Casting Number 385596, no dowl pin hole timming chain cover correct for the bloc, a date correct 65 muncie M-20 325 main cas, a big block core support and radiato, a rear sway bar and shifter. The car is being auctioned off with out all the big block stuff and 4-speed . The auction is for the car the headlight assemblies and the loose parts and stainless in the pictures. Buyer will have the option to buy all of those items to make it a big block clone. I can install all the option stuff if you are not picking the car up in person .This car would be a super start to a resto rod as well as it has very good bones . The wheels are 7 inch rally wheels with decent tires . The windshield is just taped in for transport and car will need to be trailered as it has no brakes and no motor. It steers fine and i can help load on this end .There is no warrantie written or oral and sold as is where is .
