1953 Chevy Rat Rod Truck

1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description:

Up for auction is my friends 1953, five window Chevrolet Pick Up Truck. The Truck is sitting on a Chevy S10 Frame which has Modern Suspension, Disc Brakes up front, Power Steering and power brakes. The truck is powered by a 307 SBC and backed by a turbo 350 Transmission. It's not a show truck, however it is a lot of fun to drive and gets a ton of attention wherever it goes.

Couple features on this old truck are:

-s10 frame

-power brakes, power steering

-307 sbc

-Turbo 350 transmission

-Aluminum radiator with electric fans

-Holley Carb

-electric choke

-New 695 Riddler wheels, 10x20 rears and 8x18 fronts

-New Cooper tires, 305's in the rear

- Removeable wooden bed

A couple things to know:

- My buddy built this truck several years ago. It originally was powered by a big block and set much lower. Its been in more shows than I can count and driven to all of them. She is not perfect but proven reliable. He has built many cool rides and is running out of room in the barn. Something must go.

-The old Chevy drips and smokes a little oil, like all old Chevy's do.

-Truck has awesome patina and something you don't see every day, a nine-foot bed!! Itmakes the truck standout. It sits low and long.

-Truck is missing the door glass.

-No seat belts

-No speedometer

-All lights and gauges work as they should.
