THIS CALIFORNIA NATIVE 1963 CHEVY FACTORY SHORT BED TRUCK WAS BUILT AT THE OAKLAND PLANT IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THIS TRUCK HAS SPENT ITS ENTIRE LIFE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA . THIS IS A CLEAN STOCK TRUCK THAT IS A GOOD RUNNER / DRIVER THAT'S GETS ATTENTION WHILE ON THE ROAD.

THE BODY- The factory floor pans are solid with light surface rust only, they do not show any signs of welding, patching or repairs and they do not have pin holes, they look good. Both of the kick panels are in good condition with no signs of rusty holes or repairs they look good. The fire wall shows no signs of rusty areas on the driver's side or passenger side upper corners of the fire wall, the fire wall is solid and clean. The exterior bed sides are original to the truck and overall they are in good original condition, there are no signs of rust repairs, patching or old bodywork. The top of the bed and the stake pockets are in good condition with no signs of waves or repairs to the stake pockets. The interior bed side panels are in good solid condition and are not beat up or dented. The original doors are in good condition with no signs of rust repair, patching or old collisions just light surface rust. The original front fenders are clean with no signs of rust repairs, patching or old collisions just light surface rust. The original inner fender wells shows no signs of rust or repairs they look good. The original battery tray is intact and it is not rotted out it looks good. The radiator support is also original and shows no signs of rust or repairs it looks good. Both the inner and outer rockers are original to the truck and are not full of body filler, there are no rust holes in them just light surface rust, they both look solid for being original. The inner rockers and body braces are solid with no signs of rust holes or pitting, they look good. The windshield pillars and upper windshield area both inside and outside are rust free and are in good condition. The top of the metal dash is in good condition with no signs of rust or rust repairs. The rain gutters are all solid along with the roof and they show no signs of rust or rust repairs. The hood is in good condition with no signs of rust repair, it fits nicely to the fenders. The bottom side of this truck is not rotted out and it is apparent, when looking underneath that this truck was a dry vehicle. This truck has all of its original GM panels and overall the body on this truck is in good condition. This is an original truck and it has some small dings and is not perfect but overall this truck's body is in good original condition. The exterior color is blue / white and the paint is an older garaged kept driver quality paint job with no rust bubbles, blisters or body filler shrinkage. The paint looks like a single stage satin style paint job that is older but this truck has been lightly used after the paint work was performed.

THE INTERIOR- The inside of this truck is clean and presentable and the original front seat is intact but the driver's side material is tearing. The drivers side of the seat springs are broke down and they will need to be built up. The original rubber mat is in good condition with one holes below the pedals, the rest of the mat looks good. The original sill plates are intact and there are no rust holes in them. The glove box liner is intact. The instrument cluster / gauges are clean looking and all in good working order. The heater blower is in good working order.The original steering wheel is in good condition with no cracks and the horn ring is also clean. There are no added speaker holes cut in to this truck. Overallthe inside of this truck is in ok original condition.

THE MOTOR- This truck is equipped with the original high torque 230 6 cy motor that is bone stock and in good running order. This truck runs good and this motor is not a leaker or smoker it is dependable. The motor is equipped with all the original GM accessories.

THE TRANS- The trans is the original 4 speed manual transmission and it is good working order. The clutch does not slip and when you drop this truck in gear there are no universal joint clunks or noises.

THE OVER ALL-This C10 short bed truck is a nice original driver that was well taken care of and was not beat on or abused over the years.This is a very original truck that still has its originalblack California license plates and the original stock hubcaps. The front suspension looks to be original to the truck and the truck steers straight on both high and low speeds but keep in mind it's not a new truck. This truck has the original stock springs and the original rims are in good condition. The tires are newer and have good tread and they are in good condition. The original electrical looks to be in good condition and the head lights, dome light, turn signals, tail lights, heater blower and wipers are all in good working order. The windshield has a small rock chip and the rest of the original glass is not cracked or pitted and is in good original condition. The front and rear bumpers are original to the truck they are straight and clean. The brake master cylinder is original and the brakes are in good working order but I recommend having the drums and pads inspected for your own peace of mind. The bottom side of this truck is not full of under coating from the factory and it is clear to see that it is not a rotted out mess. Over all this Chevy is a blast to drive and it gets attention while on the road and this truck is affordable classic in thiscondition that will only go up in value.
