1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS Convertible Description:

All original **One Owner matching numbers 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS Convertible. This car was won at a parade in Keokuk Iowain which it wasraffled offto my father-in-law's father. So technically it was purchased by the Keokuk Chamber of Commerce and then transferred to him. He drove the car a total of 61,303 miles until he wrecked. The front-end damage bent the frame. I have another frame which goes with this auction.There is still damage on the cowl drivers side. The car has been stored in a dry garage for nearly 35 years. As you can see the front was taken off and never put back together. The fenders are in good shape with no rust. The hood is also in good shape with no rust. The car is a 6 cylinder 3 speed (on the column) manual. The car basically has ZERO rust. I have tried to take plenty of photos but if you do not see something please let me know and I will take another photo. I do have this car listed locally as well so auction may end early.

#1 Question/Comment: Extra frame is not boxed in.Correct, it is for a coupe not a convertible. The convertible frames are boxed in to make it stiffer whereas a hardtop is not. There are kits available to box it in or you couldcut the damaged section off the current frame to make it complete/accurate.

#2 Question: Do I have the back seat? Yes I do. Forgot to put it in the picture. I also have the horns, parts to the head light and some other misc. parts.

#3 Question: Do you have any paperwork that may have been in the glove box. No unfortunately I do not.

I found the keys to the trunk. I found a treasure trove. I found the original owners manual, owners protection plan booklet, seat belt instruction pamphlet, original registration for a majority of the years the car was driven including the 1st in 1965. I have new pics of the convertible boot which is in great shape, pics of the hubcaps, chrome headlight trim, original floor mats from the Oldsmobile dealer where the car was from, pics of the carpet, pics of the trunk (no rust holes anywhere), jack kit, rear seats, pics from below showing no rust through the floor boards. Ebay wouldn't allow any more pics to be shown. If you want any of these pics send me a text at 5732486730. I'll send them your way. Also, if you buy I can store no problem. I have plenty of room.
