1979 Chevrolet Corvette L48 Description:

You are bidding on an original 1979 L48 Corvette. I am listing the car for my brother-in-law Dave, but can answer some questions about the car. If you want to talk with Dave to get all the details just send me a question and I'll forward his contact information.
Dave has owned the car for 31 years and is only selling because he lost his garage storage space. The car is all original and has been stored indoors for all the time Dave has owned the car. He has routinely only driven it a few hundred miles each summer and stored it in the winter. The car runs and drives fine and the engine holds strong oil pressure. The car has 150,000 miles and has always had regular maintenance throughout its life. The paint was redone in the late 1980's and is in very good condition with one small crack in the right fender where it meets the hood (see picture). The engine compartment has never been detailed and the only work Dave has performed has been routine maintenance. The transmission was professionally rebuilt at 139,000 and shifts fine. The tires are recent with plenty of life and the interior condition is very good with only minor wear. The frame of the car is in excellent condition with only minor surface rust is some areas. The car had a recent inspection and is currently tagged in Delaware.

The car will be advertised locally so we may close the bid early. A deposit of $125 paid using PayPal must be received within 48 hours of the bid closing. Once the deposit is received Dave will show you the car and if it isn't what you expected, you will have no obligation to complete the sale. We will not issue any bad feedback if you don't like the car. We will just keep the $125 deposit to pay the eBay charge for the sale, and then re-list the car.
