A beautiful resto mod 56 Bel Air Chevy with a C-4 Corvette LT-1 drivetrain including a complete independent rear suspension mounted to the original 56 Bel Air frame. Of course the frame has been updated and modified to handle the increased torque. The front frame section is custom rectangular tubing from the modified firewall forward so that the C-4 Vette crossmember could be incorporated as well as the rack and pinion. Added to the mix are 6 piston Baer calipers and 15 " drilled/slotted rotors at each corner of the car. Rolling stock is BFG rubber shod on 18" and 20" Foose wheels
The rebuilt LT-1 engine has a complete March Pulley and bracket set up in front. The exhaust exits through Sanderson cast iron manifolds into a custom side exhaust system which includes Magna Flow mufflers and NASCAR style chrome exhaust tips. A 700 R-4 rebuilt transmission transfer power to the Corvette rear axle center section. All suspension pieces have had Energy Suspension poly bushings installed both for the front as well as the rear suspension and have been powder coated to maintain a well detailed appearance.
134 Freon flows through the polished AC compressor to a trunk mounted evaporator provided by Vintage Air. They also provided a front mounted heat/defrost unit which mounts under the dash, along with a Rain Gear electric wiper set up and Custom Audio Sound unit which is also dash mounted.Speakers are provided by MBQuart. Dakota Digital supplied the instrument cluster, with Ididit and LeCarra finishing of the dash with a column and steering wheel. An E Brake electric park brake help to keep the under dash clean.
A custom leather and suede interior provide a bright looking interior which compliment the Lamborghini orange and pearl white exterior which has been applied over razor straight steel body panels. The paint extends to the underneath of the body as well as under the hood and the inner fenders.
The trunk area has been highly detailed with carpeting and trim to hide the rear AC unit as well as the CD player and battery which are located under what appears to be a spare tire cover.
This car has been in the making for over a decade and has had a considerable amount of money spent to make sure all details have been covered! I have hundreds of additional pictures covering all phases of construction which are available upon request. I am also willing to take videos of selected areas as well as overall if desired.
