1964 Chevrolet Corvair monza Description:

1964 Corvair Monza with a factory spyder Turbocharged 150hp engine, 4 speed, Rare simulated wood wheel steering wheel, runs whisper quiet, drives and in far far above average condition. Carb just professionally rebuilt with California corvair kit. It has spent its entire life in the midwest area and has never seen road salt. Rust is bare minimum on the body with exception of the front valance and I have a brand new one that goes with it. a few small pinholes of rust around the rear wheel wells. Floors are near, trunk excellent, engine compartment has minimal surface rust and the upper lip to the trunk has rust (very common). Original red with white interior. Headliner will need replacement as it is separating in a few places. Drivers seat has small tear on outside top and 3 places where the seems are pulling, but excellent condition for the year. Original Spyder hubcaps, original factory spyder tach dash cluster with manifold pressure and cyl head temp gauges live and original spyder glove box. Still has original fuel line deicer bottle half full in the trunk. It could be a great Friday night at the Dairy Queen with paint and a headliner, Or a great survivor in as is condition. Please look the pics over carefully. Ask your wife, kids, and dog if need be if it is ok to buy it prior to entering a bid. I was told that the car was and original monza spyder upon trading for it, however, when listed prior, I was told it was not by the build plate. Many Corvair Gurus out there much more versed in this car than I am apparently. It is an original monza, but appears to have had the other items including the motor added at some point in it's life. I personally think that would be insane to do that much work to make a clone out of a car this cheap, but take it for what it's worth... and ask questions accordingly.. 402 429 9999 That being said.
