1975 Monte Carlo

1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Description:

This is a 1975 Monte Carlo. I bought the vehicle from Burbank, CA in 2010 and finished restoration in 2012. The interior of the vehicle is nearly all new: the seats, the carpet, the headliner & interior trim pieces. The dash is not the original dash and is cracked in two places. I do have the original dash, and it will come with the car. The odometer in the vehicle reads 14xxx, while the original odometer read 55xxx. The title read the car had 51xxx miles date of purchase. Honestly, I am not 100% certain whether it is 155xxx or 55xxx. At the date of purchase, the old interior did not look like the vehicle only had 51xxx miles. On exterior, not much needed replaced. All weatherstripping around the vehicle is new. I do not own the opera window trim pieces nor the emblems that are behind the opera window. The driver's floor was replaced with new metal. The only rust on the vehicle is two bubbles appearing by the drivers side opera window & the hash mark seen in the photo. I do have many extra parts that will come with the vehicle.
The car itself drives to perfection. It is cruiser but powered with 350 small block & an Edelbrock carburetor. I made no aftermarket changes to the performance. The Edelbrock carburetor came with the vehicle at purchase. The vehicle does leak in 3 locations: the differential, the oil pan & the transmission pan. The car has not been driven much in the last few years; primarily garage storage. The car was my sons, but he bought a Fox Body Mustang and left the Monte sit in back burner.
