1971 Chevrolet Blazer Description:

Here we have a 1971 Chevrolet Blazer that needs a new home. This is obviously a project truck that needs a new owner to continue onward with it's restoration. It's been inside for the last 9 years until a few weeks ago when it got kicked out of the garage. The body is structurally sound, it needs both rockers replaced, and the inner rocker on passenger side. Both floor pans are solid, both rocker boxes are solid, windshield frame is solid, the rear cargo floor has rust bubbles on 4 ribs. Nothing horrible but it's there. The passenger quarter panel in front of wheel well where it meets the rocker panel will also need rust repair. All body mounts are solid. I have two new Goodmark front fenders bolted onto the truck as well as a new Goodmark steel cowl hood with powder coated oem hood hinges. Included is a near mint original passenger side inner fender. I also am including a front clip bolt kit. The core support and battery box are rust free originals, grille shell is a nice driver with a few small imperfections. The tailgate is rust free and is very usable. The upper strip is still attached. The top is a nice clean original single wall top with no notable chunks broken or major cracks. The hatch is clean inside but has a chunk of fiberglass broken on the outside. Very fixable. All top and hatch hardeware is there and functions as it should. Pretty much everything that's supposed to be on the dash and firewall is all in totes now. This is a factory AC truck, everything for that is there and very nice including a new AC wiring harness. The SPID is no longer on the glovebox but i'm thinking this was a CST. It also has all side panel brackets still attached. Included is one original sport bucket with good foam and the backseat. The engine is a late model 5.3 junkyard engine. It was a guaranteed motor that ran good and had solid compression. It has the proper flexplate to mate it to the TH350. Trans and transfer case were cleaned and resealed. There is over $600 worth of new exhaust on the truck as well. New motor mounts are in place but it needs a proper crossmember either built or boughten for it. Also included is the original V8 crossmember. If the LS motor isn't your thing, all you've got to do is bolt in the original crossmember and its ready for a small block again. There's a nice oem style tire carrier that come with it. Original blue dial hubs in great shape, it has a newer 4" lift kit on it, new front driveshaft, new body bushings included, rear driveshaft is there and nice, original 72' Rally wheels in good shape with nice trim rings. The tires are bfg AT's. They are usable but are old.Overall this is a great project truck with a lot of potential. I'm more than happy to assist loading this thing on a car hauler or your trailer. I've shipped quite a few non running vehicles across the country, its not an issue. This is not a rust bucket junker. It has a lot of potential and has had a lot of good clean parts added to it over time. It just needs someone to breathe some life back into it. I just have way to much on my plate to get to this one anytime soon. There is a clean clear title included with the truck. The vin tag, frame numbers, and title all match. Buyer is responsible for shipping fee's. These Blazer's and Jimmy's are doing nothing but going up in value so grab one up while you still can. This ones affordable. Any questions feel free to ask.
