It has been well cared for and is something of a restomod, with a fuel injected crate engine and automatic overdrive transmission. It is also has nice factory options including power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. There is a lot to like here.This C2 has had one repaint in... its original color of Rally Red. It was fitted with a big-block hood at the time of the engine swap. The original hood is included as well. The fuel tank was also replaced at this time. The original tank is also included and still has its factory sticker attached. Additional modifications include a factory side exhaust and upgraded air conditioning system. There are plenty of other new parts as well including chrome, trim, and seals.This Corvette left the factory with a base 327 cubic inch motor and 2-speed Powerglide transmission. This was significantly upgraded with a new 350 ci ZZ3 crate engine along with a complete tuned port injection setup. This includes an electric fuel pump, regulator, fuel injectors, and electronic engine control. The transmission was replaced with a new 4L60 4-speed automatic with overdrive and a 2800 rpm locking torque converter. The net result is more power and improved driving from the first turn of the key, whether in town or on the highway.The car is made even more enjoyable by the inclusion of power steering and power disc brakes. These cars can be a bit of work to drive without these features. The suspension has been upgraded with VBP components for a better ride. The factory air conditioning is fully functional and uses a modern Sanden compressor and R134a refrigerant. It all makes for easier and more comfortable driving.The black and white interior has an original appearance and is in remarkable condition for its age. The carpeting has been replaced along with a few dash items and the steering wheel. The speedometer and all gauges work properly. Same with the wipers, heater, horn, parking brake, interior lights, dash lights, radio, and more. It also has smooth operating headlight doors and cold air conditioning. It’s hard to beat a 1967 Corvette. For many it represents the best of the mid-years and the pinnacle of Corvette design. This one has all the unforgettable style of the era along with a great blend of convenient features and desirable upgrades. And who doesn’t love a red Corvette?
