1964 Chevrolet Corvair Description:

You are looking at a 1964 Corvair spider convertible. I was told that the car came from Texas. Rust free body. Here is a list of repairs that has been done to the vehicle. New master cylinder, rebuild wheel cylinders with steel pistons, new hoses, new spring kits, note shoes were not replaced at that time. Engine parts, the engine was rebuilt 15,000 miles ago. Rebuilt carburetor, All new gaskets including O-rings, push rod tubes, drive axle seals, input shaft seals, clutch cable, throwout bearing, high-performance clutch. Electrical parts, generator rebuilt, points, rotor, coil. full tune up by the Corvair Club. The Tires has about 4000 miles, Repairs need to be done. Speedometer cable, parking brake cable. Although parking brake cable works. The only thing I have found rust is the front hood is not original. In 1964 the word Corvair is in the hood. Also it has rust in the edge. Please see picture. The paint is a baked on enamel. Many spots are chipping off from age.
