1970 Chevrolet Other Pickups -- Description:

Very desirable CST shortbed with key ingredients- air conditioning, power steering, brakes and more. Clean Oklahoma truck that was ground up restored. Recently dialed in even more by a collector that wanted it 100% turn key ready to drive anywhere. Has a $4,100 in recent mechanical receipts. EXTERIOR: Really clean body. Even in our photo studio going around on the turntable this thing is straight as an arrow with no waves. I noticed the doors and hood fit real flush... and square. It does have a gloss reflection. Even right along the bottoms I didn't see any bubbling, cracking or issues. Also appears that the exterior trim has been replaced- deluxe side moldings with the wood grain, has chrome bumpers, aluminum grill. New lenses, door handles, gas cap, it's all been replaced. The windshield is new, the gaskets around the windows have been replaced. New the weather strips, fuzzy window seals, sill plates. Dressed it up even more with a set of 20 inch Torque Thrust wheels with some performance tires. Beautiful oak bed kit with stainless hardware from Brothers. INTERIOR: The interior has been completely restored to stock condition with the exception of a retro stereo that was neatly installed with kick panel speakers. New correct upholstery and matching door panels. The CST included a headliner. New carpet, armrests, window cranks, door handles, instrument bezel and dash pad. All the interior metal has been painted gloss black. The original build sticker is on the glovebox door. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is a rebuilt 350 motor with some enhancements like an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb with electric choke and HEI ignition with MSD box. The heat and air conditioning system is all new. Many other new parts like master cylinder, alternator, belts, fan shroud etc. UNDERSIDE: Very clean, well restored. Body was off the frame, new body bushings. The floors appear to be solid original. Has a nice Flowmaster dual exhaust. Has upgraded coil over shocks front and back. Bottom of motor is still clean.
