We recently purchased this Corvair Van from the previous older California owner and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy !!It is VERY RARE as only 11,993 Corvair Vans were built in 1963 !!It still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door pillar mounted VIN tag and an ORIGINAL STYLE - 1963 Corvair owner's manual.This is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - California - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car and it shows!I drove this van for the last several days as my daily driver and I assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !! The motor also sports the ORIGINAL Dual air cleaner housings, ORIGINAL Dual Rochester carburetors, NEW alternator belt and a NEW fuel pump. Sounds GREAT too with the "THROATY" custom true dual side exit exhaust system with dual chrome tips. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Four speed manual transmission that also functions very well. The - BEAUTIFUL - MOSTLY NEW Charcoal Gray Cloth and Black Vinyl interior is in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE NEW Charcoal Gray Cloth and Black Vinyl front bucket seats, VERY NICE CUSTOM Wood Grain steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, VERY NICE NEW Black carpets, VERY NICE NEW Charcoal Gray Cloth and Black Vinyl rear bench seats, VERY NICE CUSTOM "Wave" Painted dash, VERY NICE CUSTOM Matching Black door panels and a VERY NICE NEW CUSTOM Wood Grain headliner !! All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Badging and NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers. All of the ORIGINAL lights and lenses are clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL! This vehicle is in GREAT mechanical condition and it runs and drives VERY WELL!
