This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with it'sOlympic Gold paint, black interior, M20 4-speed, original "born with" drivetrain, andJerry MacNeish Certification is up for salehere for the first time in years.
Mileage shows 2779 miles. We do not know ifthis is original miles as this was ordered asa Radio-Delete Z28 with 4:11 gears, so morethan likely it was used as a Drag Car, hencethe low milage? It rides and handles as itdid when new and no rattles or body sounds asa low mileage Z28 should!
The Z28 had some paint touched up at arestoration shop in New York when it waspurchased in 2010 and also had PowerSteering, vacuum booster for the brakes, 3;55rear axle replacing the 4:11 factory gears,and a radio added for drivability andcomfort. All stock parts were kept and couldbe put back on.
While there were 243,000 Camaros produced forthe extended 1969 model year, only 20,302were Z/28s. The first-generation Camaro Z/28sare among the most collectible and sought-after Camaros ever produced. It has beenauthenticated, certified and inspected byJerry MacNeish of Camaro High Performance,Inc., and it also retains its original trimplate.
