Hi.I have one set of keys, door key and ignition key. No chip so very easy to replace.
Drivers door lock works with the key from outside and button on inside. Passenger door does not work with the key from outside.
The hand brake/emergency brake works fine.Car has had a color change to pearl white, can only see the pearl in the sunlight. It’s beautiful.All lights on the outside of the car work fine, headlight doors open and close as they should. The headlight doors and windshield wiper door work with vacuum, I’m sure you know that. Inside courtesy lights all work.I have a windshield wiper switch on order because although it works it seems to be problematic, wiper door always pops up but sometimes the wipers don’t come on without wiggling the button.
Gauges all work, clock does not.
Climate control all works as it should, heat, ac is cold. I just had a new compressor, dryer, and expansion valve installed and system evacuated and charged, 134 Freon. Defrost door is very slow to move and sometimes doesn’t. This too works with vacuum. Heat blows from under dash and ac blows from the correct ac vents. These are all little issues that most of these cars develop over time.
Understand that this car has not been restored, it has been maintained and as needed things have been replaced or repaired.This is a very nice reliable driver quality car, please take into consideration that it is 47 years old and far from perfect. That being said my car is as nice if not nicer than many of the other 1968 thru 72 corvettes that I see online with asking prices of much more. I put a very low reserve on my car and I see that it has already been met. Someone will get a very nice car for the money.
