1968 Chevrolet Impala Fastback Description:

This is a running car, with current inspection and Texas registration. Has 327 with 4 barrel, cannot tell if motor and car match numbers. Engine does not smoke, runs smooth, transmission shifts fine. Has original points and condenser ignition. Work we have done last two years: rebuilt transmission, front end work, brakes, tires under 100 miles, wiper motor, starter,power steering pump, serviced all lights, charged AC, new paint.Also new rear coil springs. No dents in body panels or bumpers. No rust.
Doors swing and fit well. All window regulators work. all glass intact. We have door and window crank handles.
Works it needs: Interior is missing door panels, and really should be all redone. Dash is complete, and speedo and fuel gauges work.AC blows cool but not cold. Actual wiper arms missing, truck lock missing. Paint job is recent but not a very good job. Hood has a burnt spot in paint after a carburetor backfire. Paint cleans up nice and looks good from a distance but up close has blemishes. Has an exhaust leak that sounds like a leaky donut. Bumpers have blemishes in plating but not much.
This car is a project in progress but our son has run out of interest and money to do it right. Getting ready to graduate high school. We hate to let it go but its been gathering dust lately.
Just added pictures on engine and trunk. There are misc trim pieces in trunk. We have all side trim for car but my son did not want them on. No rust on this car.
