1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Description:

History: Purchased July 1996 with 74,117 miles. Used as show/weekend car. Was featured in Lowrider Magazine. Joined military in November 2000 and stored at my parents house in VA. Brought it home after moving to NC but have not had time for it. I know I'll regret it, but it's simply time to admit I need to let it go.
Details: 350SB 4-bolt main engine installed and complete transmission overhaul (turbo 350 w shift kit) at approx 82k miles, MSD electronic ignition, Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, Edelbrock water pump, Be Cool radiator w electric fan (switch under dash), Powermaster alternator w March bracket, 3-stage House of Kolor paint job, Wolo horns, telescopic drive shaft, Dynamat in doors/body, Billet Specialties air cleaner and valve covers w K&N filter, Hooker headers, Flowmaster mufflers w custom rear exit exhaust, modified fuel tank for return line, Mirror Image under hood mirrors, billet Optima battery mount, oil/water/volt meters, have custom lowering springs but currently sitting on old stock springs, all hydraulic components have been removed, BFG tires, shop manuals, assembly manual, wiring diagram manual, owners manual, original production/merchant sheet (Charles Town W VA), car cover, manual center link for converting to modern power steering (has original power assist steering),and obviously more.*Still have original radio, radiator, drive shaft, fan shroud, exhaust manifolds, extra trim, and more.
Recent Maintenance: Replaced MSD spark plug cables, replaced MSD distributor cap, new spark plugs, Mobil1 oil/filter change, large electric fuel pump w return line replaced with smaller Holley electric fuel pump matched for Edelbrock carb...still has fuel gauge and clear filter going into carb. Cranking but there's no fuel getting to engine. I suspect stoppage in the fuel line and just got a new fuel line in the mail last week still sealed in box. I purchased a new Optima yellow top battery June 8th that has not been installed yet.
New Parts Still in Boxes: OEM style carpet, rear package tray & padding, firewall liner, Kenwood stereo, Kenwood front and rear speakers (old stereo components removed), ACDelco master brake cylinder (stock one not pumping), stainless front brake line kit w new line connectors, window felt kit (door to window trim), glove box liner w switch, cigarette lighter kit, Hooker header gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and other new/old/original parts.
Needs: Dash pad (leather cracked), rear/drivers side quarter panel (hit n run), sand/paint (some surface rust starting to show bubbling and dimple in front fender), original high/low fan switch was only thing not working in interior (has aftermarket switch under dash)...produced with A/C but was removed before Ibought it. Body still looks solid...I only see some surface rust coming through. Frame had some rough spots when I got it, but looks solid in my opinion...rear/trunk c-channel area could be boxed in to improve. In my honest opinion, after installing the parts I already have and doing the body/paint work, this will be an extremely clean anddrivable car again...after being in storage for so long. As-Is and all parts Ihave listed and more will go with it. For the $8,000 I'm starting the bidding at, with no reserve, there shouldn't be any hesitation here. I see what verydeteriorated 64 Impala SSs are selling for, andit's more than the starting bid for this nice, classic, and hard to find vehicle!
Pick-up only but I have two references I've used before to ship cars. Expect $1 a mile for the lower priced (open trailer) companies. I'm in Spring Lake 28390, close to Fort Bragg, NC.
