1986 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Description:

This is a fun old truck that can be driven daily as it is or do a little more work to get it to true rat rod status. It is a long box and is powered by a 4.3 V6 followed by a 3 speed manual transmission. A bullet proof drive train but not a hot-rod setup. It does get pretty darn good gas mileage though. The body was pretty solid before the rat-rod paint (flat black Rustoleum). I did replace the rocker panels and cab corners but not professionally done. I was looking for a short box so I just used body filler on the box sides where there was rust. The cab, doors, front fenders, box floor, and tailgate had very little to no rust. The doors and tail gate open and close nice and solid. New parts include; Complete clutch system, master, slave cylinders, clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot and throw out bearings, and the flywheel was machined. Fuel tank, pump, and carb overhaul, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, electric choke, stereo, speakers, and some other things I can't remember right now. The exhaust is fairly new with a glass-pack that has a cackle to it that makes me laugh. You just have to hear it to appreciate it. LOL.
The bucket seats are out of a Grand Am with a jump seat out of an Olds Silhouette between them. It will fold up to seat 3 people with seat-belts. I'm 6"3" and this thing is very comfortable for me. The seats are adjustable too. The last two pictures are what it looked like before the rat-rod make over.
I am driving this truck every day and everything works. All the lights, horn, wipers, heater, ext..It is a fun toy but I have too many and this one has got to go. Let me know if there is anything you want to know or want to check it out in person. Thank you.
