M1031 CUCV Maintenance truck w/ PTO Generator

1990 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 CUCV Description:

This 1990 CUCV has never been repaired or restored. Starts and runs great. Motor is trong. Turbo 40 transmission, NP 205 transfer case w/ PTO. Dana 60 front axle and 14 bolt rear axle w/ locker, 4:56 ratio. There is a very small amount of rust on this Texas truck. The left inside kick panel, right rocker and right cab corner. Maintenance body is aluminum. The 12 KW generator turns but does not generate due to a faulty controller. Even when working, these controllers were unreliable. Best bet would be to replace it with a solid state APEX controller. TOW BAR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. Tires/wheels are from H1 Hummer with bead lock and run flat removed. Stock tires are included since the Hummer tires have the death wobble at 45. The steering stabilizer needs to be upgraded to a double version to cure that problem. If the buyer is towing home, I'll mount the stock tires/whee;s and throw the Hummer tires in the back. Interior is about what you would expect with ripped seats and cracked dash. Odometer shoows 9914 miles and that is probably correct. I picked it up from a service yard at Ft. Worth which it probably never left its entire life.
