1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Description:

Up for sale is my 1965 Chevy Malibu which I have owned since 2008. It has mostly been stored outside with a car cover on but not for the last 6 months. It last ran about 5 years ago but won't start now, I believe a clogged gas line from the tank to the pump is the culprit and it also needs a battery. I rebuilt the carb about a month ago so that's good. This car needs much restoration but is very straight. The door/hood/trunk gaps are symmetrical and the doors close nicely with the push of just a single finger. The carpet, front buckets, steering wheel, headliner and weather stripping need replacing and the rear speaker tray needs reupholstering as well. The dash, door panels and rear seat are in good useable condition in my opinion. The previous owner replaced the quarter panels and they could work but personally I would replace them. The trunk floor pan definitely needs replacing and probably the main floor pans too. The engine is a 283 Chevy equipped with headers and the transmission is a TH350 I believe.
