- Imported stock from San Fran late 2016
- Ground up / bare metal resto
Engine/ Driveline :
- 54 324 Oldmobile "Rocket" with 56 371 big port heads
- Edlebrock OE7 high rise manifold
- 6 x Holley 94 carbs ( just been rebuilt ) on Speedway Progressive Linkage
- Petronix HEI
- Noxious exhaust manifolds
- T5 trans w/ Bendtsen adaptor
- 96 explorer 8.8" axle, posi w/ discs
Frame :
- Heidts IFS with GM discs
- Gambino 4 link and notch
- Slam Specialties Airbags
- New crossmembers etc
- 7" brake booster and MC mounted under floor with access panel
Body :
- bare metal respray finished mid last year
- Sills, boot floor, front floors, shaft tunnel, door bottoms, running boards replaced.
- Front fenders reworked / lifted 5 " to accomodate wheels at bottom out ( all steel )
- all epoxied and sealed, then dynamat throughout
- Stainless 65L custom fuel tank in trunk
- Upholstery all new. Trunk not done
- Wiring all ne, running 12V with alternator
- Accuair Vu4 bag manifold, 3/8 lines
- 2 x Viair 480C compressors, 1 x 3 gallon SS Tank
- USB ports in glovebox
- `15x, 15x7 Wheel Vintiques D window steel wheels.
- Has a removable tow bar, good for a bike rack but not much more
All work completed and Certed mid last yea, New WOF this week. If I get my act together it will be at Beach Hop in next couple of weeks.
Paint and body done by Michael Stewart Restorations in Cromwell, Upholstery by Chop at Winton Auto Upholstery. Tank by the Tank Dept at Hillside Fab, the rest done by me.
Its been a big project and Id love to keep it but have a still have more cars to build. If you dont agree with the price just buy one of the other ones listed here.
I have driven this car 1100 miles in the last couple of weeks all over New Zealand.
I purchased the vehicle in the US and have the DMV title when purchased.
