1978 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne Description:

I got this truck from the estate of the original owner. It is super straight with an exceptionally clean body. I do not think the truck has 1 dent on it! The hood has no bows or kinks, which is extremely rare. The tailgate is straight; not bowed, not dented on the top. The inside of the bed has no dents and it looks as if nothing was ever hauled in it. The front wall of the bed is straight and has not been bowed toward the cab, as is common. The trim is exceptional. The glass is in good shape, the driver's outside mirror is broken. The bumpers are straight and the chrome is nice!
The engine runs excellent; it idles smoothly all at 750 RPM all day long. The transmission shifts smooth. It drives excellent!
I replaced the valve stem seals and upon removing the valve covers I could not believe how clean the internals were! (see photos). The Chevy fans out there will notice the original valve cover seals were on the engine when I opened it up. It is obvious from the inside of the engine and the way it runs / drives that it was meticulously maintained! I also replaced the fuel pump and rebuilt the carburetor. The AC is still hooked up and works, but it could use a recharge.
The suspension components all look good, with lots of life left. It drives like a cream puff. The tires were bought in 2012 and have a couple thousand miles on them. The truck was stored in a barn.

See a photo of the option tag for details of how it was equipped from the factory. It still retains all of the original equipment, with the exception of the AM radio which has been replaced with a detachable faceplate AM/FM radio / CD player.
The only rust on this truck is on the front lip of the passenger side front inner fender (under the battery). The core support shows no signs of rust. The frame, floor pans, rockers, bed, fenders, wheel lips, doors, cab corners all have zero rust.
The truck has been repainted once and the job was of poor quality. The paint on the hood has flaked off in large chunks leaving minor surface rust / bare metal. The silver portion of the paint is dull.
The interior is original. The top of the seat is sun damaged and deteriorated. The carpet is faded, but in fair condition. The dash has some cracks.
This truck is 41 years old. For its age, it is in exceptional condition. Its mechanical condition, the straightness and lack of rust, and the condition of the trim are phenomenal.
I have sold a few vehicles on E-bay over the years. All of the buyers I have sold to have been very happy with their purchases. I accurately describe everything I sell so there are no surprises. This truck is no different.
The truck is located in Grants Pass, Oregon (97526). You are welcome (and encouraged) to come and inspect the vehicle. The closest airport to me is in Medford, Oregon (MFR) and is 30 miles away. Fly in and drive it home! I sold a truck to a man in Canada last year and he did exactly that...with NO PROBLEMS. This truck is also up to the journey.
