1948 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 Description:

This listing is for a friend's 1948 Chevrolet Advance Design Series,1/2 Ton, 5-Window, Thriftmaster Pickup Truck; later known as a 3100. Solid frame & cab. Original doors in excellent shape, so removed & stored for safe keeping. Fenders/hood in good shape, no rust holes larger than a dime & not many. Bed walls/gate in good shape, few dime-sized rust holes. Bedrails in mostly good shape, but a couple may need to be replaced. Bed floor needs complete restoration, obviously. Inline six is all there w/ tranny; both need rebuilding. Standard rear end in good shape, wheels move. Glass is all good,no cracks, minor pitting. Bench seat frame solid. Brand new chrome grille, still boxed. Original gas tank already restored for daily use. Boxes of other parts my buddy gathered when he was planning on building. Headlights, taillights & housings, ext/int trim pieces, etc. CLEAN TITLE. Great Father/Son or retirement project! Vehicle will need to be towed/shipped. Thanks for your time!
