1958 Chevrolet Corvette -- Description:

Too many cars and not enough time. I am selling my 1958 Corvette. This car was born silver blue inside and out with silver coves, power top, power windows, automatic transmission, and both tops. All of the power top equipment has been removed from the car and I do not have any of it. This car runs and drives as it should. Excellent project for a full restoration or drive it as it is. I have a correct casting numbers and date coded 283 block stamped for 1 four barrel that is standard bore that will be included in the sale and will be shipped in the trunk of the car along with all the other parts pictured. The 283 crank and rods and intake manifold are correct casting numbers and date coded. The car currently runs with a 350 block and the original correct casting numbered and date coded 283 heads and exhaust manifolds. I had the transmission rebuilt a few years ago. The front half of the transmission is numbers matching the rear half is out of a 62 Chevy. Rear differential is numbers matching. I have photos of all of the numbers and under carriage that I can send. Frame has only light surface rust. Body is as pictured with original paint showing through. I have installed new coil and leaf springs, shocks, rebuilt master cylinder, all new brake lines and brake parts with old drums turned. The radio, heater fan, horn and interior courtesy lights do not work. I believe everything else works. You are urged to have this car inspected before buying so you know what you are buying.
