1970 Chevy Camaro Z28/SS

1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28/SS Description:

This is a 1970 Camaro Z28 or SS. Before you read on I can not find the cowl tag. There are no holes from where it was or should be and I looked everywhere and still am having a hard time finding it. Unless gm put this in a strange place I cannot find it. So, if anyone knows something I don't please share it with me. This car came with a 4 speed but has automatic pedals in it. Strange because it still has the 4 speed parts under the hood. 4 speed tunnel in the interior so I have no idea of why it is like that. Rearend is a 12 bolt with sway bar, which is welded on from the factory. Bucket seats but no carpet and rear side panels for interior. headliner is a dark blue so I am assuming the interior was blue but someone sprayed it black. dash is nice and has a 7000 rpm tach. windshield is cracked and not mounted, just sitting there. Outside color was blue. Door jams show the exterior color. frame rails are solid as is the whole underbody. Trunk is solid and for the body, solid but I don't know whats lurking under that body kit. I would assume solid considering the rest of the car. Body kit looks like someone with some skills put it on. This car has weld in homemade frame connectors. Very solid frame connectors. No engine or transmission. I do have the driveshaft, bumpers, which the front bumper is a split bumper. Clearly the car came with a straight bumper all the way across. The rear tailpanel is cut with those strange lights in the back. Do not know whats with that but I am sure its the body kit road car look. fiberglass cowl hood, pin on but has the mounting holes for mounting it. It is not pinned right now so there is no hole drilled for the pins. I do have a grill for it that is not broken. The area after the doors and before the rear window had scoops on them and were welded on so both sides need some work to make them straight.Front calipers are off the car but come with and there is no power steering pump or front sway bar. This car did not come with air conditioning. Under the hood looks very clean and not all rusted. I will put better pictures up later on sunday night, these are just some basic pictures of it right now. I do have the headlights and bezels too. ANY QUESTIONS CALL ME.
