THIS CALIFORNIA NATIVE 1970 GMC SHORT BED TRUCK WAS BUILT AT THE FREMONT PLANT IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THIS TRUCK HAS SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA . THIS TRUCK STILL MAINTAINS ITS ORIGINAL PAINT WITH REAL LIGHT CALIFORNIA PATINA. THIS IS A CLEAN STOCK TRUCK THAT IS A GOOD RUNNER / DRIVER.

THE BODY AND PAINT - The body on this truck is in overall good condition and the floor pans, kick panels are solid, they look good. The bed sides are original to the truck and do not have any old repairs or any damage to them they are in good original condition. The inside of the bed is in good condition it is not beat up or abused. The original tailgate is straight and is not bowed but there are some small dents in it. Both the doors are original to the truck and are solid they look good. Both front fenders are also original to the truck and I have checked the passenger side fender down low in line with the battery and it shows no signs of rust same with the driver’s side both look good. Both of the inner fender wells and the battery tray are original to the truck and they show no signs of damage or rust they look good. The radiator support is also original and it shows no signs of damage or rust and will not need to be replaced. The outer rocker panels are original to the truck and they are in good condition with no signs of rust only light pitting. The inner rockers look solid there are no signs of rust holes. The windshield pillars and upper windshield area both outside and inside are rust free and are in good condition. The top of the metal dash down by the windshields rubber is in good condition and it shows no signs of water stains or rust it looks good. The hood is in good condition and it lines up nicely with the fenders. The hood hinges are in good condition and they are not sprung. The floor tunnel and the firewall are clean and rust free and the original firewall paint is in good condition. While looking down the side of this truck it looks straight and the body gaps are good throughout. This truck has all of its original GM panels and over all the body on this truck is clean for being original and this truck was pampered throughout its life. This is an original truck and it has a small dings, paint chips and extra body holes for bedside hooks and side mirrors but overall this truck is straight and clean. The original paint on this truck is medium bronze and it is getting thin here and there showing its real California patina but overall the original paint is in good condition and it still holds a shine.

THE INTERIOR- The inside of this truck is in good clean condition. The front seat is in good condition with no tears or wear marks, it looks good. The original rubber mat is intact and it looks good. The original door rubbers and felts are intact and are in ok to good condition. The dash pad is in good condition with no cracks or blemishes. The original instruments in the dash are in good working order. The original sun visors are intact and in good condition. The original paint on the door panels is in good condition and the armrest are not cracked they are clean. The heater and blower controls are intact and are in good working order. The radio is original and is not working and there are no added speaker holes cut in to this truck. The original dash paint is in good condition and overall the inside of this truck is clean from top to bottom.

THE MOTOR- This truck is equipped with the original 250 6 CYL. motor that is bone stock. This truck runs good and this motor is not a leaker or smoker it is dependable. The motor is equipped with all the original GM factory accessories.

THE TRANS - The trans is the original 3 speed transmission and it is in good working order and it does not slip. The original rear end is a nice tight rear end that does not clunk or howl. When you drop this truck in to gear there is no universal joint clunks or noises

.THE SUSPENSION – The front suspension is all original stock and the front end steers straight. The brakes are stock to the truck and are in good working order.

THE RIMS AND TIRES- The tires are like new and the stock steel wheels are clean along with the original hubcaps they all are in good condition.

THE OVER ALL- .This original GMC factory short bed truck is a nice clean driver that was well taken care of and was not beat on or abused over the years.The outer bright work on this truck grill,front and rear bumpers are clean and straight and it all looks good. The original glass is not cracked and is in good condition but the original windshield is cracked down low on the drivers side.The original glove box options sticker is intact and legible and the owner’s manualland brochure booklet is included along with the warranty booklet.The front suspension looks to be original to the truck and the truck steers straight on both high and low speeds but keep in mind it's not a new truck. This truck has the original stock springs and the original rims and hubcaps are in good condition. The tires are newer and have good tread and they are in good condition. The inside of the bed is in overall good original condition it is not beat up. The stock original electrical looks to be in good original condition.The exhaust is older and is in ok condition, you may want to replace the muffler. The brake master cylinder and the brakes are in good working order but I recommend having the drums and pads inspected for your own peace of mind. The bottom side of this truck is not full of under coating from the factory and it is clear to see that it is not a rotted out mess. Over all this c10 is a blast to drive and it gets attention while on the road this is a hard to find affordable classic in thiscondition that will only go up in value.
