1970 gmc 1500

1970 Chevrolet C-10 Description:

Mostly original 1970 gmc 1500 2wd pickup
The engine is a good running stock 350 with an edelbrock intake and carburetor. It has new exhaust manifold gaskets and donut seals. New valve cover gaskets as well. The engine does not smoke or knock.
Transmission is a Turbo 350 shifts firmly. I assume the previous owner put a shift kit in it. It does not slip, it feels tight.
The suspensionIt has 3" drop spindles in the front. 1" drop coils
The rear has a weld in c notch that was done properly. The rear axle has a flip kit. Its a 5" drop in the rear.
The tires are 215/70/15 and they are in good shape with about 75 percent tread.
Iam very picky when it comes to ride quality and this truck does not beat you up. It still has alot of suspension travel left in it. You could lower it more if you wanted!
The interior is clean and the seat appears to have been reupholstered. When? I dont know. But its in nice shape.Also has a pioneer cd player
The body and paint
This is a Patina truck, it has dents and scratches but hey its a very clean original truck. I had the tailgate clear coated. There isnt any major rust in the truck.
The original bedfloor is still there, it's definitely old. previous owner threw a piece of treated plywood down with a rubber mat over the top. I never had any issues with the way the bed was when I used it as a truck so I never messed with it. See photos
Overall, the truck is in running and driving condition. It does not need any mechanical work. Just needs a caring home!
