up for auction is a freshly built 1938 chevrolet business coupe. it has a ton of new items, which i will list individually. this will be a great little hot rod to premiere during the upcoming 2019 car show season. some of the new items purchased and installed recently are, new "american racing" wheels, new tires, complete new gray vinyl interior (including storage area behind seat, and complete trunk compartment), new "vdo" gauges, new chrome tilt column, new "vintage air" (includes air/heat/defroster). the engine is a sbc 350 c.i., with 202cc aluminum cylinder heads, also the engine has headers, dual exhaust, and a new edelbrock carburetor. transmission is a fresh 350 automatic. the rear axle ratio is 308:1, and allows this little coupe to cruise all day at 70 plus mph. the motor is cooled by a " walker" radiator, with an auxiliary transmission cooler. the chassis has new springs front and rear, new shocks front and rear, new power front disc brakes with new drum rear brakes. the front suspension is a mustang II type independent. all glass is real tinted glass not just added later. also please take note that the paint is NEW and is "tuxedo" black using basf single stage paint. also note that the bumpers, front and rear are "one off" custom hand made from stainless steel.i'm selling this car for a client. if you really want the street rod of a life time, for a decent price, then this is the car for you !!!
