Description 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop Coupe

LOCATED IN PORTLAND, OREGON.
This 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air had one owner over the past 30 years and was restored during that time. It was just recently refreshed and presents beautifully today. Excellent "Sunglow" Gold and White paint, just buffed and polished. Trim is a combination of re-plated and good original chrome. Interior is also a combination of restored and very good original upholstery. New carpets throughout. Excellent glass with no chips or cracks. Excellent headliner with chromed bows. Continental spare tire mounted at rear and rear window louvers for a sporty look. This car shows nicely as seen in the photos that were just taken for this listing.
Mechanically, this Bel Air is excellent. Previously rebuilt 235 OHV 6 cylinder engine with PowerGlide automatic transmission. Just fully tuned-up and serviced. I have personally driven this car and it runs and drives beautifully. Runs whisper-quiet at idle. Good power, shifts smoothly, excellent brakes. All gauges register accurately. Firestone bias ply wide whitewall tires hold the road well even at freeway speeds. A real pleasure to drive anywhere. All gauges work and register accurately.
