I have a lot of information and documents on this 1968 Camaro, I will do my best to tell you about it however anything I miss just ask and I can send additional photos and info. This Camaro was a trade in here at the Auto Shop. The car was a dream project and the client passed away before completion.

The engine is a fresh 383 CI with a 3.75 stroke Dyno tested and tuned to produce 550 HP @6600 Rpm. We have all 21 dyno test sheets and adjustments made after each test. Do not have all the receipts. However a little over $10,000 invested in the engine along with the heads and machine work including the cooling system, intake and Holley 750 double pumper carburetor rebuilt by fuel curve engineering, electric water pump, electric fan yet to be installed, MSD ignition, Moroso wires, HEI distributor, long tube headers, and several other items not mentioned.

To transfer the torque the transmission is a fresh turbo 400 with the manual valve body and push button transmission brake, new 5,000-RPM stall converter, B&M shifter.

The rear end assembly is a narrowed 9-inch ford with new brakes, new-hardened axles, and bearings, new spool 4.56 gear, and bearings. When traction counts the 15x14 racing slicks mounted on Drag Stars provide the glue for the launch

The Chassis comes with a lot of work and modifications. Ladder bar frame kit, 6 point roll cage, frame connectors, wheel tub kit with all the patterns to sheet metal the back half of the car and door caps, a racing seat, 5-gallon safety fuel cell, Mallory 140 gph fuel pump, tubular control arms and bushings, along with a front disc brake conversion for stopping power. The front wheels are 15x4 Drag Stars with new rubber.

The body is almost ready for the custom paint this car so wildly deserves!! The steel body has been gutted for weight reduction. It comes with a fiberglass front end, which can either be tilt or lift-off (optional). The fiberglass hood and deck lid have also been added for weight reduction. The body has been prepped with 2k-urethane primer. It comes with new rubber seals including door, trunk, drip rail, rubber stoppers, a couple of other new unopened bags that I could not read. It also comes with a new dash pad. The hood and front end are held together with ¼ turn speed fasteners, a few of them will need replacing. Diagrams and drawings on parts of the car can be seen in the photos.

I’m sure this car will need a few things for completion, however, this is a professional project ready for the next enthusiast and there Love for an American Pro Street Camaro!!
