1961 Chevy Corvair Lakewood station wagon

1961 Chevrolet Corvair 700 Description:

This is a 1961 Chevy Corvair Lakewood station wagon not many of these were made and far fewer are still around this is a nice Neptune green original color with matching green interior, the interior looks to have been redone and is decent carpet is missing, headliner is original and stained Recent work done. Rebuilt carburetors new fuel pump,new gas tank and new sender, car runs decent drive train is original and has not been touched so car has the typical corvair oil leaks, It has some dings and dents drivers quarter has a small dent small rust spot on passenger fender nothing real major solid car floor boards see pictures enclosed . I suspect it was repainted and some body work has been done years ago so can use freshening up I also noticed that on the front inside floors there is some small area`sof metal riveted to the floor in the base this may be factory installed there seems to be a bad windshield gasket causing a small leak in the front truck and the interior of the car. There is also a small rust spot in the back passengers part of the floor. I had several questions on the underside of the floor so I enclosed several pictures showing the floors and they are real solid. Theheater is disconnected and radio is not original. I have the original radio but can`t find it right now hopefully before the auction ends, if not I will send it to the winner when I find it .Great car to drive as-is or restore these cars continue to go up in Value great investment any questions please ask more than happy to assist
