The Stingray is finished in yellow nitrocellulose paint which is complemented by a stunning white interior. A full frame off restoration was completed roughly 20 years ago by the famous NCRS judge and restorer Werner Meier. Post-restoration the vehicle was on display at the Gilmore car museum by request. Powering this time capsule is a numbers matching, fuel injected 327 cubic inch V8 producing 375 horsepower....This rare motor is mated to a manual transmission. The Corvette launched its 2nd generation with the birth of the Stingray with a complete redesign barely resembling its predecessors. The Stingray was lighter, had independent suspension, and was aerodynamically tested. For the first time, the United States had mass produced a true all-around sports car.
