1992 Chevrolet Corvette Description:
While it breaks my heart, my boyfriendsays there's no more room in the garage so my first (and favorite!) Corvette has to go. She's a real beauty, a ton of fun and ready to drive! I've enjoyed turning quite a few heads in this six speed and I hope she'll find a good home here...
I have included photos of my service records. In December 2018, the car received:
- a new battery
- a new drive belt
- upper and lower radiator hoses
- front + rear brake pads and rotors
- an oil and filter change
- cooling system flush and service
- fuel induction service
A couple of years ago (less than 2,000 miles ago), I replaced the water pump and distributor - the dreaded OptiSpark is gone!
Tires are nearly new with lots of tread left.
The convertible top is original and has normal wear. There is some fraying/cracking around vinyl piping - see pic. The back "glass" is perfect. No rips or tears in fabric.
Interior is clean and looks great with re-upholstered and extremely comfortable sport seats. Car conveys with original mats.
Cold A/C and toasty warm heat.
Paint is immaculate though there are a few small chips on the rocker panels.
Lovingly cared for and always garage kept and covered. I just purchased a brand new, all-weather cover which I'll toss in with the car.
Original shop manuals will also convey with the car. I've found them handy.
Manual transmission
If I were keeping the car...
- As is common with the C4's, the original Bose Gold sound system finally bit the dust.
- It's probably time to replace the weather stripping around the convertible top, as well.
