1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Description:

NO RESERVE!NEW INJECTORS!
Up for sale is my 1995 Chevy Camaro Z28 convertible. Please read everything before bidding or buying.
I bought this car a little under 7 years ago from an old significant other of my family, whom he had bought his mother, who had purchased it brand new. The window sticker is actually still in the car. I bought the car because he was purchasing a new car and this one had some issues with the radiator. I trailered it back to my house where it sat in my garage for around 4 years where I worked on it when I had time. During that time, I replaced the following;
-New Radiator-New Push Rods-New Spark Plugs-New Head Gaskets-New Exhaust Gaskets-New Intake Manifold Gasket-New Exhaust Manifold to Mid-pipe Gaskets-New Coolant-New Oil-New Oil Pressure Sensor-New Valve Cover Gaskets-New Battery-Set of Polished and Ported WS6 Heads (bought from a guy in South Carolina)
During this time, I cleaned up everything as much as possible and ended up cutting a square hole in the trunk of the car to access the fuel pump. A common mod for this car. However I never finished the trap door and the square is rather jagged. You will also see in the pictures where I played around with a can of plasti-dip and never took it off the car at the rear.
The paint is great in some parts, but this car has the notorious spider webbing in the rear bumper as most of these 4th gens do. Also, there is a rock chip in the windshield that caused a crack. As mentioned, there is the square hole I never finished making a door for in the trunk. The car hasn't been drove except onto a trailer about a year ago to move to another place to store. It was running fine at that time, however it has since not wanted to start up the last time I messed with it. It clicks now, which sounds like the starter isn't engaging. The top of the convertible has some of the treads coming out, but I have yet to experience or see any water in the interior of the car. Also, as common with GM cars of this era with VATS system, the metal on the key that gives a resistance to the system has eroded away, so I has spliced a resistor into place as a VATS bypass (The popular way to do it). The crossover coolant steam pipe is also spliced in two for easy head removal, and connected by radiator pipe of appropriate size. Furthermore, you will see a crack in the back bumper of the driver side. This happened when the previous owner backed into a SUV in his driveway. Lastly, the window is off track on the driver's side. That is why you see in the picture that the interior driver's panel is off.
On the plus side, the interior is in rather good condition for its age. Besides, the window and interior problem, I do not recall any abnormal wear, if any, on the leather seats. This car also has the GLASS REAR WINDOW WITH DEFROST, while many of them just had plastic. When I took the engine apart, the internals were extremely clean, especially for a car of this mileage and age. No pitting on the valves or on the piston heads. The piston heads were extremely clean and didn't have any combustion residue. It was uncanny to me if you want me to be honest.
This car will be sold AS IS. I will not be responsible for any other repairs that you have to make in order to get the car on the road. So if you buy this car, you are agreeing that you are taking responsibility and relieving me from any such costs of repairs. I will be more than happy to answer any questions that will help you decide if this is a car you want to tackle to fix, or use for parts. Please do no hesitate if you have a question.
