This is an authentic 1963 Impala SS 327/300 4spd car and is the "real deal". Following a total rebuild 8 years ago (nota frame/off as it didn't need to be!! Car has recently been taken yet to another level using NOS parts. The attention to detail shows from bumper to bumper. With an era correct 327/300 hp engine to a brand new Muncie 4 spd. (not a rebuild) to brand new drive shaft and brand new rear end with positraction (3:55 gears). This car wins a trophy in virtually every show it enters and often wins best in show. The engine compartment has even won special awards and the interior is better than the way it came from GM 50+ years ago. In 2016, sound deadening material was installed to make taking a ride even quieter. Over the past 3 years, my goal while tweaking the car was to make it look, feel and ride like it just rolled off the GM assembly line. Car has Power Steering with all new components and dual line Power Brakes. Hub caps have been restored to be better than new and chrome quality for exterior / interior is virtually all new / new sound system by "Custom Auto Sound". Bumpers are brand new, custom mandrel fit exhaust system has been tuned with a muffler/resonator combination to sound totally stock ... suspension (custom springs/shocks front and rear) has been designed to have car sit level and a bit higher than factory spec. Springs came from Eaton Detroit Spring who owns the specs on GM OEM specs. All New wiring harnesses installed with new electronic ignition. Even the console between the bucket seats has been redone with new console lining and working latch set. All chrome looks as nice as the hub cap photo! Body is as straight as it came off the assembly line! If you are looking for a 63' SS that runs like it is brand new (not a squeak or rattle), this car will perform beyond your expectations.
