The center console, new stock steering wheel, and crisp gauges make driving easy. And the ride height of this 4x4 SUV even towers over a lot of new machines to give you a commanding view of the road. Under the hood is Chevy's famous 350 cubic-inch V8. You can tell they took their time with the restoration to even get the engine bay right, and there's a long list of new components. So the bold orange block looks terrific as its radiating from within the darkness. A trusty and tough V8 like this is great in a go-anywhere 4x4. And the way it fires up readily and idles smoothly reflects more of a good investment. Topped with a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, it makes plenty of power and the right rumble from the header-fed dual exhaust. The lifted stance, BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As, and the recently rebuilt two-speed transfer case gives you the confidence to take this one up the trail or out on the dunes. But more than just an off-roader, this one will look good rolling down Main Street. So this is built to be an easy cruiser thanks to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes.
