1965 Chevrolet Impala SS Description:

True 1965 Impala SS Convertible. This is a very nice original car that needs restoration. I believe that I am the 3rd owner of the car. This is a true SS convertible. The engine is a NON Matching 396/325HP V8. The engine is from a 1966 caprice. It runs very good and does not smoke or knock or make any sound. The engine has just had New Carburator, New Alternator, New exhuast from headers to tailpipes, New brake booster and master cylinder, New brake wheel cylinders, New Fuel Pump, New Gas Tank, New Water Pump. The car runs and stops good but should be trailered since it has not been on the road for many years...The car is equiped with Power Steering and Power Brakes. Runs good and stops good, However the car has not been on the road for many years. Parked inside garage since 1998 This is a TEXAS car but it does have some rust. Locations: Just behind the rear wheels, see in photos. And there are some small area's on the floor that will need attention. Again this is a texas car so there is not allot of rust. The original color is Artesian Turquoise and believe it has had 1 repaint in the 80's. The interior is Ivory and is not torn up to bad but it is completely worn out. Door and trim panels need to be repaired or replaced. Car will need a new top and pads. Convertible top Frame is there but the power top motor is not working. Windshield glass and all other door and quarter glass are all in good condition. There is a brand new set of tires so that the car can be drove onto a trailer for transport. Both bumper are in really good shape and so is the inside trunk pan. The car could use a trunk, Looks like something large fell on it at one point. There is a shadow on the trunk photo, thats all.
