3100 Chevy short box step side pickup truck..Brand new 502 Crate engine

1953 Chevy 3100 short box 4x4 with a brand new Chevy 502 crate engine.Rated at about 550 HP ..Engine was just installed 2 months ago by a GM dealer.24 month warranty on engine....I have a professional restoration shop and specialize in Chevelles.Ive been restoring cars and trucks since I was in hi school and im 51 now..Ive done just over 20 complete frame off restorations on Chevelles in just the last 10 years.This is the story on this truck.I found it for sale locally.The truck is on a 1984 K5 4x4 Blazer chassis.The truck only had about 8000 miles on it from the time it was painted and turned into a 4x4..I bought it to do a quick flip but that idea went south when I found out the engine in it had bad cam..So then I went all out and had a brand new 502 crate engine installed.It had a brand new serpentine belt drive kit installed.Brand new 850 holley.Anything to do with the engine is brand new.350 auto transmission..Brand new Dick Cepek 20 inch tires and brand new custom wheels.Only a couple hundred miles on the everything Ive done to the truck..I just installed brand new interior.New seats,door panels..All new carpet..All gauges look new and all function properly..All lights work as should.It has power steering and power brakes and tilt steering wheel.The new seats do recline.Stainless steel shorty headers.Flowmaster mufflers.It runs down the road nice.I had it up to a 100mph but lot of throttle to go yet.I think the gears are factory ratio but of course has the low range in 4x4 if you need it.The color is like a candy burnt orange.When the sun hits it you can see it from a mile away...Ive got a lot of complements on how pretty the color is.The paint job is very respectable but being it has about 8000 miles in it it does and chip and ding hear and there.

Engine costed me $7600.It is a brand new engine and not a rebuild.install labor at chevy dealer was $2438.New carb,air breather,headers,ignition was.$1000..The new serpentine kit was $1000.New wheels and tires just over $2000.New seats and interior pieces were just over $1200.So there over $15000 just in new parts alone.Plus what I paid for the truck.The frame is and underside is nice and clean.Runs down the road nice and straight.Happy bidding no reserve.
