1965 Nova

1965 Chevrolet Nova Description:

I have decided to put my 1965 nova up for sale. I do not drive it as much as I should so it is time to move it to another buyer who could use it more than I do.
What this is, is a 1965 nova that was a factory V-8 body. It came out of the factory with a 283 power glide. The only ding in the car is in the hood it will not photograph well, it's on the top of the hood. It is small and repairable. The paint is old but looks good from five feet. Not a rust bucket!
It now has a 327/350 H.P border .030 hdy. cam. with a set of 606 casting heads that have larger swirl valves that have also had the bowls ground, Z-28 springs with bronze valve guides.This enables me to use pumped gas and gives me a 10.25:1 compression ratio. I also installed a new radiator, new water pump, new starter, new exhaust manifolds, The exhaust is new all the way back with over the rear axle tailpipes.No crappy side exhaust tailpipes here, sounds good, not loud but still sounds great to me.
I installed a new power flame distributor with matching coil and I am using a 600cfm Edelbrock carb with an electric choke. I had a 200r4 automatic rebuilt with a 2200 rpm stall converter built to the Buick grand sport specs.NO shift kit it is a driver with a little giddy-up.
It does have a 4:11 posi-rear with new front and rear shocks. The rear shocks are high jackers like the old days.
Did I already state the car is NOT a rust bucket! I can't find any rust in it the car, the floors are great so I couldn't bring myself to cut the floor to install a floor shifter so I kept the column shift. (I added some photo's of the floorboards from under the car when the tranny was out of it)I don't want to be deeply involved with shipping outside of helping to get the car on to a truck. If you are in the Philly to Baltimore area you can drive it home with no issues.
If someone wants to ship it overseas I can help to get it to Wilmington Philly or Baltimore ports with notice but I have never taken a car to any of these ports so you will need to set everything up. Wilmington, de would be best for me.Ask questions I will answer them as fast as I can. I work odd hours so I will get to you when I get home from work.
The car is for sale locally so I retain the right to stop the auction if I have a local buyerPS the interior is factory and needs a refresh. To me its a very nice unhacked 1965 nova hard to find not chopped up. I do have a reserve on this I will not give it away it took long to find one in good overall condition and then it took me three years to get it to run and drive well enough to have confidence in the car to drive it any distance.I just lost my interest and its time to move onIt is a 52-year-old car but it runs very well and when I do take it out it gets a lot of attention.No warrantiesNo reserve highest bid gets it.
