1958 Chevrolet Nomad Description:

1958 Chevrolet Nomad Station Wagon. I purchased the car to fully restore, but I have too many projects. Car was originally red and white with a grey interior. It was painted over at some time but most of it has faded away and you can see the red and white underneath. Very solid car. Floors are in awesome shape. There is no rust in the floors. There is a small amount of rust in the lower tailgate. The wheel wells and lower quarters need to be repaired from rust. I am including two wheel well patches on both sides to repair the inner and outer wheel wells. I am also including a driver side quarter patch panel. I posted photos of the areas that need repair. All the trim is there except a small piece of trim that goes on the passenger side between the doors. The majority of the trim was taken off the car when I purchased it. I have a box full of clips for the trim. All the stainless is restorable. There are not any holes drilled in any of it. Some pieces are dinged and dented but not to the point it is unrestorable. The glass is tinted green and most of it is good. The windshield is cracked and the passenger vent glass is cracked. The passenger front door glass has a chip in it. There is not a motor in the car. It was missing when I purchased it and I believe it was a 348 because of the wire harness in the engine compartment. The rear engine pan, radiator, and fan shroud is missing in the engine compartment. The car used to have a luggage rack on the top and it is also missing. The driver door has a large dent in it and I am including another 58 Nomad driver door with the car. I took the fabric off the front seat. The springs are in great shape. The rear seat folds up and down just fine. I have a 283 from a 59 I can include with the car if you want it. It is a running motor and I pulled it from my 59 earlier this year. I swapped the carburetor on it and it will need to be rebuilt. I can send more photos of the car if you need to see a specific area.
