1992 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 350 Sport Description:

Truck was completely disassembled and rebuilt approximately 15k ago. All mechanical components have been replaced or rebuilt.Truck was originally a factory 350 Sport with manual transmission. Drivetrain has been swapped with 2007 Chevy 2500 6.0L LQ4 Gen.4 Vortec engine with 4L80E automatic transmission. Engine was completely tore down to bare block and rebuilt. Block was cleaned, inspected, and honed to factory specs. New Wiseco Pro Tru Street pistons, and rings were installed, new Brian Toley Racing Stage III cam, lifters, and platinum valve springs installed along with new retainer kit. Also installed was new timing chain,all new bearings and seals, including cam bearings, along with new high volume oil pump. Heads were redone at local machine shop where they were machined, cleaned and inspected to factory specs. New Flow- Tech long tube headers with 2.5" exhaust with new Magnaflow mufflers. Transmission is a GM factory rebuild with approximately 25k on it. Tranny was fully inspected and a shift kit installed by local transmission shop prior to installing.Rear end has been redone with Eaton Detroit True-Trac Locker with 3.73 gears. Truck has been lowered 4" front 6" in the rear with Belltech lowering kit. All new spindles, springs, shocks, and bushings. Cal-Trax adjustable traction bars were also installed to improve traction. All new brake components, including booster, reservoir, lines, calipers, and rotors. All A/C components replaced, including evaporator,condenser, heater core, lines, and A/C compressor. Heavy duty radiator with dual cooling fans also installed.Truck started as a straight rust free truck with no damage other than normal wear and tear for its age. Originally black the truck was refinished in Nason pure white, and 3 coats of Spies Hecker 8650 high solid clear applied prior to re-assembly. No visible signs of it ever being black, all jams, and interior body panels have been refinished in base clear. Truck drives straight and handled great, with smooth comfortable ride. 275/60 15 tires on factory 350 Sport, 454 SS rims. Very Quick Truck ! Pleasure to drive and show, as well as the track. 8.6 second 1/8 mile @ 87 MPH.
