1973 CHEVROLET C-20/30 TOW TRUCK-WRECKER

1973 Chevrolet C20 Scottsdale Description:

UP FOR BIDDING-SOLD AS PARTS ONLY-NO TITLE-1973 Chevrolet C20 3/4 ton cab and chassis converted to a tow truck or wrecker. Has a functioning Holmes 440 unit, PTO driven and works good. The truck runs, shifts, has had the rear axle changed out and now has an older 1 ton rear axle underneath. Brakes are poor. Cab is rough and filthy. rust out on inside rocker edge to floor board on left side where driver's side window has been broken out for years.
This poor truck was a yard truck in a wrecking yard for many years and was parked in 1999. I have installed a new starter, battery tray and side bracket, positive cable, fuel pump and some fuel hoses. Actually runs decent if the choke doesn't stick! I have most of the tow dolly's-missing the pans that the towed car wheels would go in and the pins to hold them together. Not single tire is roadworthy-dry rot.
This vehicle is being sold for parts only and will come with a bill of sale. It came from an estate.
