1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Description:

1971 Chev Monte Carlo SS 454 GM executive use program special order car. Please see the picture of the GM use release letter for verification. The car was special built with LS5 454 cubic inch engine with 365 horsepower, 400 turbo trans, 12 bolt posi trac rear end with 3:73 gears, no air condition, no power locks, no power windows, bench seat, p/s and power disc brakes being the only luxury. the car has just over 100K miles, runs and drives excellent and has plenty of power. It is all original with the exception of repaint and 8 inch wide rallys added. It has all matching numbers. All documentation included as seen in the pictures. The car now does need a second repaint, driver car ok, but show car paint needed. It has had lower rear quarter skins replaced, some cracking at the joints. The car is rust free with the exception of some surface rust underneath that may need some attention. The fuel gauge does not work, the printed circuit on the back of the instrument panel is bad. Many extra parts included that may be seen in the pictures.
