400 MILEAGE
V8 ENGINE

1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description:

Tired of seeing the same old boring classic car for sale? Check out this custom 1953 Bel Air Hardtop. What you're viewing is a new, frame off nut and bolt professional build that started in Grants Pass Oregon, and finished by a popular hot rod & speed shop in Florida. It's taken 4 years to get to where it's at.
American horse power at it's finest. This is a "purest" hot rod. All new drive-train, power steering, 4 wheel power disk brakes, all new brake lines, fuel lines, EVERYTHING is new. This car is ready to cruise.

Here are some videos taken earlier this week. No music, no talking, just the sound of the big block Chevrolet 427:

This is a frame off, nut and bolt restore. The mechanical parts listed above are NEW, not rebuilt (except the motor build). This is a great opportunity for someone to get a deal on a car that has had a TON of time, money, and care put into it.
All receipts, product manuals and paperwork included. There's a big stack of paperwork that goes with the car. Total investment between 2 ownership(s)is around 45-50k. That doesn't include many months of labor done by the original owner.
I have a ton of pictures of the build, as well as from this week. Engine bay, underside, interior/exterior. If there's something on the car you'd like to see please let me know. Build pictures will go with the car.
I want the buyer to be as happy with the car as I am. I've included videos to show every aspect of the car, good and bad. Here are a few things that could be done to make it a show car:
  • Carpet was new in late 2016. After all the paint and body work, it is a bit dirty. I personally would replace it. Black would look great. The custom "Bel Air" floor mats shown in a couple pictures are included. They're new, unused. Placed in the car just for pictures.
  • The trunk is not upholstered. Cardboard panel kit included (sides and front, brand new in the box)
  • The rear window is acrylic. I'm ok with it; just so the buyer is aware and wants to install glass.
  • The cardboard backing on the 2 interior door panels could use some attention. Simply replace the cardboard backing, the vinyl is excellent.
  • Driving/parking lights included but not installed. I ran out of time for the small stuff. Very easy install, wiring/bulbs are already there.
  • The engine bay could use a good detail job. It's clean but has a bit of over-spray and dust.
  • A couple interior trim pieces need reinstalled (reason the headliner is sagging a bit, they hold it in)

I personally did not build the car but have owned it for a couple years and am very familiar with it. It's an absolute blast to drive. No issues at all, you could drive it cross country. I live and work overseas and have only had the opportunity to drive it 300-400 miles cruising the streets while home on vacation. That's approximately what it has on it since being finished mechanically.
This hot rod runs, drives, and stops excellent. Drive anywhere. I know I'm missing something, so please ask any questions you may have.
Clear 1953 Chevrolet title in hand. Car is currently registered and ready to roll.
I'll assist with shipping in any way I can, but ultimately it's the buyer's responsibility. Please, only serious buyers. Reserve price is much less than what I have in the car. It's basically where I need to be to sell. If the car doesn't bring what it needs to price wise, I'll hang on to it. Serious & reasonable offers considered. Thanks!
