1964 Chevrolet C-10 Description:

Selling my 1964 Chevy C-10 short box step side. This truck has had the entire bed removed and all new frame rails, wood, strips and bolts. Every fender is brand new. Doors are brand new as is the das, carpet, seat and floor pans. Paint is nice and recently painted in satin block. New dashboard and gauge set. Too much to list...new shocks also. New fenders, new grill and front bumper.Heres the deal: I love the truck! My wife and I are not totally in agreement as far as the direction to take with it. She says its far too nice and original to do what I want . So, I'm willing to let it go if the price is right. Otherwise...I've got a big block Chevy, auto trans and a Ford 9" that are going into this truck as soon as the auction is over.The engine in the truck is a 230C.I. inline 6, which was rebuilt about 6,000 miles ago and the trans is a Saginaw 3 speed, which has 5 miles on the new clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. The areas that look like "rust" are painted on to give it a patina. I've driven this truck 70mph down the expressway and its straight as an arrow. Steering components were all replaced a couple years ago. All new brakes, including lines and cables. The parking brake works! I'm only offering this truck up because it is basically all in original condition and the wife believes someone would want to keep it that way. You can enjoy as is. I've set a reasonable reserve price. The rear sits lower because we installed shorter springs to lower the stance. I didnt lower the front because I figured the weight of the big block would kinda drop the front end down anyway. LOL! I'm only offering it up this one time...then she gets transformed into a resto-mod. Its a very cool truck that gets a ton of attention anywhere it goes. Just to remind folks...this still has the manual steering and brakes.

Brand new grill and front bumper. All L.E.D. lights, including headlights, tail lights and running lights. The rear end is a 12 bolt unit with an aluminum driveshaft. The pictures do not do the truck justice. I sprayed the dust off and it still had some water on it...which made the bumper look pitted. Its flawless! All the body panels are brand new, including the doors. New dashboard and instrument panel. There isn't a drop of bondo in this truck...all solid steel!
