1990 Chevrolet G20 Van Description:

·1990 Chevrolet G- 20 ¾ ton Conversion van$2200

·201200 miles currently I am driving it till it sells though

·5.7 v8 350 electronic fuel injected engine.

·Automatic over drive Transmission was replaced at around 65 k with a crate transmission from chevy. Does have sticker on transmission so I believe that it is correct.

·Power steering, power brakes, power windows

·Very comfortable with two captains chairs and a bench seat that lets down into a bed in the back.

·Good tire, running board, has nice wide mirrors

·The following parts were replaced before I got it five years ago. Exhaust, brake system entirely, ps pump ac compressor and alternator. Gas shocks in the front. The rear has air shocks and an inflator where you can adjust according to the load.

·Reese hitch and rv style trailer wires.

·The back window can easily be removed and stick a window unit in for camping.

·I have put on belts, water pump and intake manifold gasket and u joints. once since owning. It had around 165 thousand when I got it.

·These are work horse vans. I have gone to Fl Ga and many NC VA locations in it several times.

ThaThat being said I would not recommend any long trips until the pittman arm that links the steering is replaced. I have the part but it will either need taken to shop or if someone has the time I have seen youtube videos where and air chisel and a puller can remove it. So no I would not fly in from anywhere and plan to drive this van across country.

PlePlease remember we are talking about a 30 year old plus vehicle so be reasonable in your expectations. I have tried to disclose everything I know about it.

·Things that don’t work that I know of:

oSpeedometer phases in and out so I keep a gps in there for speed. Odometer is fine.

oCruise control (may be related to speedometer)

oAc will no longer hold a charge for more than a day. I cannot find leak so starting to wonder if it’s the condenser.

oI replaced the vacuum system that always fails on the heater hoses with manual shut offs. You turn them off in the summer turn them back the other way in winter when you need heat.

oMany of the seats must be adjusted manually instead of using the levers and the back seat has been repaired like that as well.

oSome of the shades and curtains are falling or missing.

oThe ball joints and pivot arm need replaced before it can be realigned so it tend to be a little wavy at 65 or 70. I have the parts and never got around to installing them. If you wanted to do it yourself or take it to garage. It really depends on what you want to use it for if it even needs it. I took another look at the pittman arm and that needs replaced fairly soon> i have the part .

oSmokes a little at start up but clears up quickly.

oI’m sure there is some little something on it that I forgot but it is a 28-yr. old van. So, to be running and used as a daily drive is pretty good.

oCould use a paint job starting to show some surface rust in few places no holes rusted through or anything.

·Would be great extra vehicle camper van or what not. Does have 12 volt lights inside in addition to the regular dome lights.

·Clean Florida title in hand
